The asymetric reflector (aimable) is great for mounting on or near walls. The wide area reflector (flat) is best used in the middle of a ceiling. Either of these lights is available with 5000K or 6500K bulbs. The 5000K bulbs simulate sunlight and are best used for color matching. Due to the Perkinje effect, the human eye uses this high energy, high color temperature light more efficiently. Lower color temperature bulbs look dingy and yellow in comparison. **Unique Aimable Reflector
We offer two reflector systems with this fixture. All are made of bright highly reflective, lighting grade aluminum. They work just like mirrors.
This fixture includes an asymmetric reflector. This is a unique aimable fixture that specially shoots light off to the side of the light. Therefore, it lets you direct the light. Often the toughest places to light are near the walls of a room. It’s so easy to leave yourself in the dark along side walls when you block overhead lighting.
The problem is this: Say you put a light on the ceiling, right next to a wall. You waste light by lighting up the corner where the wall and ceiling meet. What a waste! On the other hand, our asymmetric reflector reflects light away from the wall and towards the center of the room or what ever you are working on. Because it actually throws the most light off to the side it perfect for shining light in hard to get areas -- like underneath an automobile hood. You can also mount this light right on the wall. Take light that would be wasted lighting up the ceiling and direct it down where it can do some good.
It’s also a great light that can be used in areas like automobile pits to shine light up.

EXCLUSIVE PRODUCT!
There is nothing else quite like it on the market. We source custom ballasts that can really pound out the light. This high ballast factor ballast delivers about 40% more light than standard ballasts. That’s the Secret that allows our fixture to replace a standard 4 bulb color corrected painting light with just 2 bulbs.
Our ballasts have an extreme temperature rating, 203 Degrees Fahrenheit. So, it’s built tough as nails -- it can really take the heat. Our experience with regular ballasts is that they simply don’t last. People constantly come to us to fix competitor’s fixtures.
Our fixtures also correctly and gently ignite the bulbs with an exclusive soft start “preheat”circuit. So your bulbs last and last.
You see T8 tubes have two pins on each end. Standard ballast designs short these two pins together and hook them up to just one 600 volt lead. By impressing a damaging high voltage, it’s possible to cold start the lamp. This cold starting is absolutely devastating to bulb life. It also turns the tube ends black, reducing light output.

Anti-stray voltage design (continued) Those of you that milk cows know what stray voltage is. The outer chassis of a conventional steel body fixture provides a path for return current to return to the power company. Stray voltage depresses milk production. So it can’t be good for people either. But not to worry--- by hooking these fixtures up on 240 volts, neutral to ground feed back is eliminated. Also, these fixtures are made with non conductive offsets that allow you to mount the fixture without grounding out the light. So our fixture can help keep you or your animals safe!
Come to Us for the True High Output T8’s
People say they are blown away with the brightness of our high output fixtures as they are compared side by side with competing normal output designs. Our customer’s really like our lights because they are so amazingly bright! Based on word of mouth reference, we have shipped lights all over the country.
Our competitors often see our lights and start saying that their ordinary output fixtures that they are selling are really high output too. What a dirty trick! It has happened over and over again. I feel sorry when I meet people that feel they have been cheated. A good part of our business is making rebuild kits to upgrade lights that are too dim.
What’s worse is that there is a new kind of shop light on the market. This consumer grade fixture makes exactly 50% of the rated output of the bulb. As one of our distributors who bought one to try said : “I only put one light bulb in it, because if you put in two, they will only run at half power.”
Here is the difference between normal and high output T8 fixtures. The T8 bulb was first developed in Europe as a 36 watt bulb. But when it was brought over here it was called a 32 watt bulb, but a standard fixture only drives the lamp at 27 or so watts.
So what does this all mean? A standard commercial grade T8 fixture will give you only 85 to 88% of 32 watt rating. The residential grade shop lights give you only 50% to 70% of the 32 watt rating. Our high output fixtures give 120% of the 32 watt rating. Additionally, there are different grades of bulbs, for instance our sunlight simulating 5K bulb makes an additional 9.6% more bonus light than a standard daylight bulb.
